THE QUESTION
THE ANSWER

The pair of the Ibeji in the photo is from the Egbado tribe and from the town of Ilogbo.
The most important identifying element are the four fingers of the hands, very long, but with a thumb finger very short.
From the photo it is also possible to notice that it is a well sculpted pair, with a nice natural patina.
Both Ibeji have a a simple but elegant beads necklace.
It is a nice pair of Ibeji and it is classified as SCARCE in the Encyclopedia of the Ibeji, where a similar type is included on the plate n. 191.
