Beatiful pair from Ajasse
Beautiful and tall females pair from Ajasse, located in the Igbomina tribe territory. The coiffure is high and artistic, stained with Reckitt paint. The mouth is missing the central tooth, typical of the Ajasse Ibeji. The body has an ample coverage of camwood patina from old tribal cerimonies. The Islamic triangle is carved on the front and back of both statuettes. Strands of old coconut shells are present around the waist of both statuettes.
Ibeji Art offers an unconditional guarantee of authenticity on the Ibeji sold because they are always accompanied by the Expertise of Fausto or Mauro Polo. READ MORE...
