Pair of Females Ilogbo

$4,300.00Price
  • Original text by Fausto Polo, 2007, translated to English from Italian

A very fine pair of Ibeji from Ilogbo, located in the Egbado tribe territory.

This is an uncommon, rare type of ibeji.  Their most evident characteristic is the considerable and disproportionate length of both hands and feet. Of particular note is the stunning beauty of the magnificent natural patina. Both Ibeji have a necklace made of antique red beads.
This beautiful pair of Ibeji is published in my book “Encyclopedia of the Ibeji” in the photo 199.

  • Ibeji Art offers an unconditional guarantee of authenticity on the Ibeji sold because they are always accompanied by the Expertise of Fausto or Mauro Polo. READ MORE...
