  • A charming pair of Ibeji from Ilorin, in the Oyo tribe territory

    This is a very pleasant males pair of Ibeji. Ibeji from Ilorin were carved with different styles by different carvers, but some had common characteristics, in this case the base, rounded with characteristics carvings all around. Both Ibeji still have large traces of red camwood patina on the body and each Ibeji wears several ornaments. This beautiful pair was published in the Encyclopedia of the Ibeji, photo number 515.
