Pair of Males Ibadan
A rare pair of Ibeji from Ibadan, in the Owu tribe territory.
A primitive pair of males Ibeji from the Ibadan village area, in the Owu tribe territory. This typology is very rare, has to be noticed the very particular head and the very thin and short arms. They are most likely very old and are missing some of the Ibadan characteristics that were common in later years from the carvers working in this town. A reddish camwood patina is still present in several parts of the body. These Ibeji come with custom made mounts.
