Single Female Offa
An superb female from Offa, located in the Igbomina tribe territory.
This Ibeji illustrates the most prominent carving elements of the Offa village. Namely, the exaggerated size of the pending breasts and the typical somatic traits of the face, showing also wear from the continuous loving care and rubbing of the mother. Both eyes are nailed.
The Ibeji body has a luxurious dark natural patina, with traces of a reddish camwood.
