A superb male Ibeji from the Ede town in the Oyo tribe territory.
It has the five point hairdo typical from this area. One raw of white and red beads around the neck serve as a protection from Shango. It has a fine worn and washed face from the mother caresses and tribal use, with several carved scars on the face and on the abdomen. The body is covered extensively with camwood patina. This Ibeji was carved by Abogunde in his workshop in Ede.
