  • A very fine Ibeji from Ajasse, in the Igbomina tribe territory

    A tall Ibeji with a carved necklace around the neck, which has engraved, both on the front and on the back, the characteristic Islamic triangle, named “tirah”. This Ibeji has visible teeth with the missing central ones, a design typical of the Ajasse carvers. It also has an high hairstyle covered with blue Reckitt powder. Nice and extensive reddish-brown camwood patina covers an ample part of the body.
