Old Ibeji carved by the Master of the Smiling Face in a workshop located in Ila Orangun, in the Igbomina tribe territory. All the Ibeji carved in this workshop, where worked three master carvers whose real name is unknown, have an appealing smiling expression. For this reason they are called with the name of "Master of the Smiling Face". The body has an ample cover of a brownish-red camwood patina. The particular hairstyle still has light traces of blue Reckitt stain.
