This exceptionally tall Ibeji from Ilorin features an attractive coiffure stained with indigo pigment and several beaded and metal ornaments. The surface exhibits a finely polished patina with also camwood powder (osun) remaining in the recesses. A unique characteristic of this piece is the orientation of the eyes, which are not set horizontally but are inclined at a 45-degree angle.
